    fantastic spa
    beautiful garden
    higher restaurant prices

We spent 5 nights in a Premier King Room and loved the gym and the stunning garden area. The spa services, especially the relaxing massages and the indulgent body scrubs, were fantastic. The restaurant prices were a bit steeper than what we found elsewhere in Tokyo, but overall, it was an amazing experience! 👍

We had a fantastic stay, enjoying an evening of traditional entertainment in one of Kyoto's historical Geisha districts. The hotel’s amazing service made visiting the nearby temples an unforgettable experience. Our toddler adored feeding the koi fish in the beautiful garden!

My children wished for more play areas within the hotel.

My stay was a memorable experience, particularly due to the breathtaking environment built around an 800-year-old heritage pond garden. The Premier King Room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a tranquil retreat after busy workdays. The breakfast offered an impressive selection, including freshly baked pastries and organic juices, which set a positive tone for each day. The staff were exceptional, especially Satochi at the concierge desk, who provided invaluable restaurant recommendations.

    peaceful retreat
    spacious room
    fresh pastries
    high dining prices
    limited restaurant options

During my three-night stay, I found the pond garden to be a peaceful retreat. My room was spacious and had a relaxing vibe that helped me unwind after my days of exploring. I appreciated the breakfast selection, which included fresh pastries. There was a tea ceremony experience that stood out and allowed me to connect with local traditions. I enjoyed my time there as a single traveler who values culture and history.

Some dining rates were higher than similar places in Tokyo. I noticed limited restaurant options during my stay.

    common area discomfort

The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features stunning traditional décor, complemented by the serene 800-year-old pond garden that provides a peaceful setting. The accessibility was excellent, making it easy for seniors like me to navigate the beautiful grounds comfortably.

Requesting more seating in common areas would help.

The Premier King Room provided a spacious and impeccably clean retreat, contributing to relaxation after a busy day. The 800-year-old heritage pond garden was a breathtaking highlight, offering a serene escape with its vibrant flora.
